W. Hodges Davis, MD
A subspecialist in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Davis joined Miller Orthopaedic Clinic (now OrthoCarolina) in 1992. He now serves as director of the O.L. Miller Foot & Ankle Institute. He is also a foot and ankle consultant for multiple regional and national dance companies. He is a former assistant orthopedic consultant for the New York City Ballet. A father of five boys, Dr. Davis also donates his time during the fall to provide medical care for local high school football teams.
He has published dozens of articles and book chapters and edits a peer-reviewed journal. He has also delivered well over 100 presentations, both nationally and internationally, on topics ranging from shoe wear to surgery for foot deformities and trauma.
Dr. Davis and his colleagues are involved in the development of cutting-edge technologies and techniques for foot and ankle surgery.
