Murray Penner
Dr. Penner’s practice is focused on adult orthopedic foot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Penner has a particular interest in total ankle replacement and complex foot and ankle deformity. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of British Columbia, and is actively involved in clinical research, teaching, residents, and sub-specialty Foot and ankle fellows. He is the current president of the Canadian Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (2011-3). He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and member of the American Academy Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Penner has been invited as a visiting professor and lecturer at numerous orthopedic conferences and institutions in Canada, the United States, and Europe, and has presented and published numerous research papers, scientific articles, and book chapters.
